How it all Began
In September of 1991, we had a vision to start a generator service company that would focus on field service work and providing excellent customer service. Shortly after opening we decided to get into the sales market and began selling Katolight generators. Since then we have spent many years working hard to grow our business and establish our place in the emergency power systems industry. GSI has since grown into one of the largest independent generator service facilities in the southeast. Despite the growth and change seen over the years, GSI still offers its customers the same level of support and customer service established by its founders 25 years ago.

At GSI, all of our service techs are factory trained to ensure that you will always receive a qualified technician in your time of need. We believe that every service we offer is important from routine maintenance to major repairs and diagnostic troubleshooting. Each service we perform demands a qualified technician no matter how big or small the job may be. Our technicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because emergency power system problems don’t just occur on a 9-5 basis. GSI prides itself in the fastest response times and most efficient repairs in the industry. We regularly attend training classes to keep up with the changing technologies and our customer’s demands. Factory Trained Technicians
To ensure we offer our customers the highest level of service and support available our technicians undergo extensive industry training. Our technicians are kept up to date on the industries changing technologies through factory training classes and service literature. The emergency power industry requires well trained service personnel because of the complex systems involved. Our technicians are also required to keep up to date certifications to ensure their product knowledge and ability to provide excellent service and support to our customers.
